Your AFCC® enrollment includes course materials that are comprised of text books and study guides and two exams. A proctored exam is required to be passed at a 70% or greater achievement level for each program component. Following successful completion of both exams, candidates provide letters of reference attesting to their skill level and sign an agreement to adhere to the AFCC® Code of Ethics.

AFCC® candidates have up to 3 years to complete the program. However, many ambitious candidates set their sights on achieving their AFCC® designation much sooner to enjoy the many benefits of being a certified professional.

After qualifying and achieving professional certification as an AFCC®, to maintain certification, Designees are required to pay an annual certification fee and complete 30 Continuing Education Units of professional development, every 2 years.
